Cosy annex in the gateway to the lakes

I was unable to sleep in double bed as matteress was so uncomfortable. My partner slept in it and had an uncomfortable night. The mattress needs replacing asap The mattress in the upper room could also do with being replaced as it sags Great to have a new shower but work needed to ensure that shower head stays in place when used The stated free on-site parking is parking on the man A road outside the property - not ideal

Lived up to its name and had everything we needed in a small cosy package. Clean, modern and tidy with added extras like bread, milk, biscuits and eggs to make it more welcoming whatever time we arrived. Instructions were clear and helpful with communication delivered in a timely manner. Instructions also identified some immediate dog walks nearby which were helpful on arrival to enable us all to stretch our legs after the car journey.

The bathrooms were so skilfully fitted in such small spaces there was no room for a toilet roll holder! An opportunity to make waste separation easier would have been welcomed as we had to be put recyclables into general waste.

The area of the property was in a good quiet location.The kitchen amenities and the extras. Eggs, milk, bread, butter, jam.

The smell of pet wee and damp. The awful smell on the downstairs was so strong we went out for the evening until we went to bed. The mattress on the bed was horrendous. Awful night sleep. This needs replacing. The towels were hard and need replacing.

Loved how cosy and clean the place is. Me and my partner loved this place so much. Would definitely come back here. Eggs, bread, and milk were perfect for our stay. It was such a nice gesture.

Extremely clean. Nice bathrooms. Nice sofa. Good location. Pet friendly. Nice hosts.

We did have a bad fault with an electrical appliance but the owner did try and sort it. Whilst it is pet friendly there isn't really anywhere to sit outside safely with them as they could get through the adjacent driveway.

Fantastic place to stay to visit the lakes! We actually stopped on our way up to Scotland, so only stayed for the night but would definitely stay here again. Tried to book it on the way back but it was not available! Super cleans and super cozy!

Shower in the main bed room was a bit weak!
