Modern 2BR Calma Villa Bingin Art-Boho

Communication with Alba (property manager) was comprehensive before our stay. They were more than happy to provide a high chair and cot and to organise a contractor to install a temporary pool fence (fee applicable) for peace of mind during our stay. We felt warmly welcomed by the communication in the lead up to our holiday. On the first night, there was a crazy, wild storm with extremely loud thunder, strong winds, and heavy rain that woke us from our sleep. The rain was blowing sideways and some water came in under the door of the bedroom. We are well versed in Bali weather, so this didn't bother us to mop it up. Come morning time, I went to message Alba to inform of the rain having blown into the bedroom, only to see that Alba had already messaged me to check in and ask if we needed anything. Well impressed by the communication. The villa itself is lovely, beautifully decorated, and had all of the amenities we needed as a family. The two rooms are totally separate with their own ensuites, which would be great for two couples or a family with older children. Pool is fab! Lots of little homely touches made for a comfortable stay - incense, bug zapper racquet, large portable fan in living space, filtered water cooler. Location was great for us. Grab & Gojek really quick to service the area. We didn't walk many places from the villa, preferred to rideshare. Many great restaurants and coffee shops within minutes ride/drive and serviced by delivery drivers. Highly recommend Calma Villa if you want to hop between Bingin Beach and Uluwatu.

Can't fault the place! If I really wanted to nitpick, the outdoor shower next to the pool didn't run hot water, but it was 30 degrees outside and the indoor shower only a few metres away.

Location was great and not too busy. Interior outstanding! Service on point
