Kilronan 3 bed house on castle grounds

Lovely house great location would book the same again

Ideal location for attending Kilronan Castle. Comfortable beds, plenty of space. Space to park.

Cold house. Only one functioning shower in en-suite. Unable to locate WiFi password in house and no reply from owner.

Spacious and comfortable beds.

The taps were loose, there was a bad smell upstairs and the drains were blocked and spilling onto the patio.

The house was spotless clean and comfortable. It was located very close to the hotel with a great restaurant that was good value for money and included free access to the pool.

The upstairs of the house was really creaky, I was travelling with 2 kids and as I walked around to go to bed the noise of the floors and squeaking doors woke them up. Not the fault of the house or host but the people next door started vacuuming and sweeping at 6am, the walls were thin and I was woken up. They then proceeded to spend about 5 minutes outside noisily dragging traffic cones around before they left.

Location was amazing as we had a wedding in the castle so walking distance was really good.

Property could do with a major dusting, walls and ceilings were covered in spider webs, spiders & so much dust. Kitchen counters had a lot of crumbs on them we noticed just as we arrived. Ceilings in each room have so much water damage marks on them along with the doors and floor boards being super noisey. The description does not match the house as it states there is a sofa bed which there was not one, very disappointing as I had booked this property for six people, two couples and two friends who were counting on a bed and sofa bed.
