The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was humble person . They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tapovan.

Overall comfortable stay

Location is a small lane with lots of construction, close to a central junction in Tapovan. Although the new-ish hotel is a plus as everything looks clean and new, most locals and nearly all taxi/auto drivers have not heard of the hotel. Rooms are well light, bright, airy and bathrooms are clean. Bed linen is clean and beds are comfortable.

Horrible experience regarding Billing. We asked the Hotel priorly to ready an Invoice during check-out time. At the check-out time, the staff denied giving us an proper Invoice, citing their boss's instructions. When attempting to discuss the matter with the owner, he tried to mislead us that we should pay at the Reception, but that Booking.com would email us the Invoice later. As an alternative, we asked for a simple receipt to be issued, at least. This time, the hotel staff said the bill-book was elsewhere, and not in the premises (!!!) Next, we asked for a simple hand-written statement with a Hotel-Stamp. This too, was denied saying "we have no bill book, we have no stamp". After 20 minutes of pointless discussion, with our airport-taxi waiting outside, we decided to pay the amount, by credit-card. And once, again the Hotel played uncooperative saying they had an 'Only Cash or UPI' policy. We found the whole affair dishonest, and deceptive.

Location requires about 5 minutes of downhill walk to reach an important junction in Tapvan. However, getting to the hotel with luggage is difficult as the property is new and doesnt appear well on Map-apps, and is barely known by most taxi/auto drivers. Also the hotel lane is narrow and crowded with ongoing construction. All the benefits of having a relatively new hotel are available - rooms and furniture look new. Beds are comfortable, and linen is clean.

Its seems likely, based on our experience, and the unlikely reasons offered by the hotel, that the property is trying to leave minimal records of financial-transactions. Payment modes are restricted to Cash or UPI, with a strong emphasis on paying Cash. In return however, the hotel offered no receipt whatsoever - trying first to mislead us that the invoice would be supplied by Booking.com later by email, and then citing implausible things like their bill-book not being present on the premises, nor a stamp-pad. The staff cited that the Property Owner had instructed them not to issue any kind of record. Trying to speak to the Owner via phone was non-productive as well.

Everything was good.. staff was super friendly and cooperative.. worthy for the money paid... And location is very convenient..
