Sky Harbor Cabin - Homer Seaplane Base

Location: Right on Beluga Lake. 6 mins drive to Bishop Beach, 10 mins drive to Skyline Drive or Seldovia Bay Ferry. Cabin: Spacious. Living room with dining table and sofa, kitchen with full size fridge, separate bedroom with 2 beds, washer and dryer in the bathroom. A grill on the patio. View: On Beluga Lake and floatplanes from the patio and boardwalk. Parking lot: Park your car closer to the road and parking lot entrance and then use stairs to go down to your cabin.

Nothing, since the parking lot couldn't be moved closer to the cabin :))) NB.: it's a working seaplane base, planes are in plain sight and audible, However, ops are strictly 0800 - 1700. NB.: Navigator is likely to fail guiding you there. So be prepared to make an extra round.

The cabins are new and very comfortable. They are beautifully made and have everything you need right at your fingertips. The property the cabins are located on is awesome. Gorgeous float planes on the water front are your view from your windows. Beds are very comfortable

I wish there was a bigger fridge. There wasn’t much room in the small one and no freezer space at all since ours was frozen thick

A lovely stand alone building with plenty of room to cook, eat and sleep. A wonderful location over looking the lake from the small furnished porch right outside your door. Bald Eagles in the trees, a Moose walking the street, and float planes taking off right in front of you. A very Alaskan experience within easy access to everything Homer has to offer.
