Self-contained annex with private entrance, double bed, kitchen, bathroom, free car park - Near Cambridge, Duxford Air Museum and Addenbrooke's Hospital

We had a great stay here. Location was fab, amenities amazing and Helen was a great host.

A small space but has everything you could need. Very clean and tidy and in sn excellent position to explore Duxford and Cambridge. Lovely garden too but it was s bit dull and wet when we would have sat out there. Friendly hosts.

There was nothing to dislike

The Annex was immaculately clean and tidy, it had a beautiful deck and garden area that we were able to use and free parking outside the door. Location was very good, nice country walks, close to shops, Duxford Aircraft Museum and Cambridge. Helen was very nice and helpful.

It was very small, especially for two people, there was no kitchen, it was a kitchenette, no washing machine, Bidet, ironing facilities, tumble dryer, wardrobe or closet, oven, dining area (compact table hardly big enough for to laptops) as stated on Booking.com site. The heating was controlled by the unit in the house.

The garden

There was everything we needed for a short stay. Excellent facilities, fridge, cooker, crockery, cutlery, pans and some basic supplies. We weren't sure what time we would arrive and Helen was really helpful and sorted everything out for us to arrive late. It was located in a quiet residential area with parking and easy access. We were visiting friends nearby and would definitely use the annex again.

This is a truly lovely place on the edge of beautiful countryside and in a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. It's close enough to Cambridge to get in and out of the city easily, but also far away from the hustle and bustle.... There is a beautiful garden which is available for guests and the hosts are delightful.

I did not find this to be a problem, but the bathroom and shower stall are quite small and may be tricky for someone who has difficulty moving around and who needs to rely on a walker, for example.

As alluded to by owner there is no privacy between main house and annex. It felt like sleeping in the owners kitchen with cutlery and washing up clearly audible.only a door separates the annexe and house. Similarly there were footsteps above into late night. The annex is onto a driveway on the street so any car headlights shine through front entrance door and reflect off kitchenerte stainless steel backsplash. Avoid. You wont sleep..
