GBThe position near Bamburgh is great. The hot tub and table tennis room was a great touch. We had it to ourselves. There were only a few people there so it was peaceful. We wouldn't have enjoyed it if it was full. The log burner was great as it was quite cool and the barbecue was useful. (although dirty) Towels and bedding very clean and soft. Seating comfortable.
The cottage was not as clean as it should have been. The dining table needs sanding as it was full of dirt in all the crevices.. The on suite floor was very dirty, the main light and extract didn't work. Extract upstairs didn't work either. All beds were very short! I'm 5ft 7in and my feet were hanging over and I'm one of the shortest of our group. The hob didn't work and the toaster was very temperamental, which was very annoying. For the amount we paid we were a little disappointed.

Arrived at 6pm and house heating was at 11 degrees and not switched on prior to arrival. So took a few hours to heat home and this was the night we chose to stay in. After that the house was warm
GBEverything was brilliant! Fully equipped, excellent facilities, my favourite was the hot tub and the boys was the table tennis. Very cosy, didn't need the heating on long to thaw out after a day out in the cold. I liked too that there were no hidden extras like some places, for example logs for the fire. Oh and on the clear night the stars were amazing!!! Really great location for everything we had planned. Dad was sad there was no room for golf clubs in my car for the free golf and we all enjoyed our free bamburgh bangers from the local butcher. Will definitely be back, intend to book all the cottages in the section we were in during the summer.
I would recommend lowering the water temperature in the cottage both for safety and to save the hosts money. My dad has asked that I ask you to put something in the downstairs shower to put your soap and razor on.
