Spotlessly clean. All the extras. Tea, coffee sugar, biscuits. All the cleaning materials, toilet roll. Bottles of water and milk in the fridge. Not expected. Very well equipped. Very thoughtful.

A bit out of the main road. Lots of narrow roads for 18 miles. A bit scary in places.

Loved the lay out of the caravan, everything we needed nice little walk to a shop. Bettys beach hut is lovely for breakfasts. Gorgeous sunsets and views from caravan balcony. Caravan was lovely and clean

Would have liked Millom to have a few more shops and take aways had to drive out. Neighbours vans close and could get noisey on a night.

The property was spotlessly clean and everything looked brand new! It was so well equipped and home from home without being too much. Still plenty of storage in the kitchen and a large fridge freezer which was fab!

"A hidden gem!"

A hidden gem! The subtle attention to detail from Gill & Kev making this a relaxing, hassle free break was really appreciated. I could list so many examples of quality customer service, no 'lip service', Gill & Kev genuinely care about your stay. Tranquillity is a cosy, well equipped, perfect hideaway. During our 4-night break (1 adult 2 teenagers 12 &15) we had all weather conditions. Whether it was pouring down, clear blue sky or blowing a gale, the location had something to offer. The 3-mile sea wall/lake circuit was great, with a lovely hidden beach along the way. The best compliment I can make is that I found Tranquility an awesome escape, and managed to switch off, spending quality time with my children. Thanks.

No complaints. We had an awesome time. It just all worked.

"A tranquil short getaway to explore the South Lakes."

The property was well situated on the marina in peaceful surroundings. It was perfect for watersports and local attractions, and there was a bar on site. Gill and Kev informed us of new local attractions in the area, and there was information about them at home. On arrival, the home was well equipped with milk, hot beverages and biscuits.

Everything. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, it really is home from home and the location is fantastic.
