Sunset Cottage - Sleeps 6 - Parking - Garden

The cottage was 10 out of 10! Very well decorated throughout and gave us a cozy and homey feel. The host has been very friendly and helpful during our stay. The kitchen was equipped with everything we need to cook a simple meal. Breakfast and a bottle of wine were provided which was definitely a perk! The view from the garden was lovely especially during sunset. Highly recommended.

We were looking for a quiet and peaceful cottage to base our family while we explored Northern Ireland and visit with family. Magilligan Cottage exceeded all our expectations! It was fully stocked with everything we could need, the view was amazing and our host Sinead was incredibly kind and responsive to anything we may need. Hopefully we will be back again one day!

We stayed at this property and couldn't have been more satisfied. Everything was spotless, modern, and impeccably maintained, with tasteful decor and in perfect condition. The spaces were large and comfortable, which made our stay especially pleasant, even with children. The heating worked perfectly, ideal for colder days. The kitchen was fully equipped — we didn’t miss a single utensil — and the bathrooms were modern, spacious, and very well appointed. The surroundings were beautiful, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting, and the outdoor patio was a great spot to enjoy the fresh air or let the kids play safely. We especially want to highlight the host's hospitality, which was outstanding from the very beginning. She was very kind and attentive, brought a small gift for the children upon arrival, and as soon as she saw we had a baby, she brought us a crib without us even asking. These thoughtful gestures truly made a difference. All in all, it was an excellent experience, and we would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, a beautiful setting, and warm, personal service.

Stunning little cottage with amazing views in a secluded area but close to the train station.

The cottage was the best accommodation we stayed in during our 5 weeks in the UK and Ireland. The host went above and beyond in making us feel totally at home.

We should have stayed longer

I had a great time staying at this B&B. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming The room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. There is also a good bbq setup.I slept really well every night. The location was amazing quiet and beautiful I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay.

Quietly located down a side road, the cottage is almost entirely surrounded by open field of wildflowers and a great view of the mountains and hills in the distance. The host lives nearby, and it was lovely to be so warmly greeted by her, but we felt a great sense of privacy at the same time. The layout of the cottage is simple and easy, spacious and comfortable too. Very much a home away from home. Tastefully decorated with all the necessities you'd hope to find. We travelled as a couple, but the indoor/outdoor space would comfortably accommodate families and friend groups. Our host made breakfast, tea & coffee supplies available, and very generously left us a bottle of white chilling in the fridge!

Nothing not to like, but it was a little tricky to find from the road - we drove past once & turned about nearby - so perhaps a slightly bigger sign would be a good idea?
