"Fantastic place"

It was loverly and peaceful you get a bus straight outside which took to town and back and get buses around the lake district very easy no need to drive came every 20 min

"Nice rooms, don’t bank on using the pool"

Very well appointed lodge, very comfortable, all in good condition. It says “luxury” and the lodge was certainly that.

The pool is not available to non-owners except by paying an extra £7.50 one off charge and then only at odd times of the day. You can’t have a swim before breakfast, then go for a walk, then have a swim in the evening when you return because this is not allowed, these are “member-only” times. The description of a pool is misleading. Very disappointing as we chose the lodge due to the pool and didn’t get in it once.

Location good. Beautiful decor within the property Beds extremely comfortable

-keysafe too high and difficult to open -bedding very crumpled - not aesthetic -stains on cushion in twin room - under twin bed not cleaned, dusty and chocolate eggs underneath

Lodge was was beautiful very modern only downside was the water situation and that was such a shame as it spoilt our holiday x

Struggle to get water we all had to have a shower at a time one after another as the water was so slow coming through and on the first day was cold overall the lodge was beautiful but I don’t think we’ll be staying here again

"Exceptional"

We had a wonderful stay at Langdale 6. The lodge was modern, spacious and very clean. Good WiFi, heating and large TV. It was a brilliant base for our trip with good facilities on site. Communication with the hosts was excellent throughout. We would definitely book again.
