The Walnut Suites - The Secluded Suite

This is an excellent location with a short walk to the shops on Walnut Street. On site parking was a plus.

Many things. Most importantly, there was a live wire behind the bed. My wife had a significant shock when she went to plug in the light. This absolutely has to be fixed immediately. The couch was stained. The secluded suite has been renamed The Hidden Suite, and we were not told this. Because of that, we could not find which suite was ours, and it was dark when we arrived. Lighting at the main door is poor, difficult to see. There are stains in the bathtub, and it is very, very slippery, this is dangerous and waiting for a fall to happen. Furnishings were sparse, the quality is poor, and not represented by the images shown on the website.

Small but neat and well-designed suite. Interesting vibes of the pre-WW2-era building typical to Pittsburgh of that time. A ping-pong table in the laundry room was a nice touch. Very pleasant neighborhood, especially a few blocks west on Walnut. The owner left very detailed instructions about the door codes, parking, entrance doors, WiFi, etc.

Perhaps the only minor nuisance was that hot water doesn't last all that long especially if multiple dwellers are using it, but was enough for quick showers.
