Deolo Mist - A Boutique Mountain Hotel

The utmost polite and efficient Manager and the staffs . Specially the manager MR. KUSHAL THAPA. HE IS THE EXCELLENT PERSON.

We stayed in this beautiful hotel from 17th to 19th October, honestly this place exceeded all our expectations. The brightest sunshine in Deolo Mist is the team members which include Kushal and three lady staff. All of them were ever smiling and ready to pamper you to the fullest. We enjoyed the food which was made with pure love and affection which you do for your family members. This place is highly recommended purely for the location and the team members. Last but not the least, Sonam, our cab driver was another person who was a gem.

Just couple of small points 1. There should be a fan or something as at times it feels little suffocating 2. Uninterrupted hot water at bathroom

Room and bathroom was extremely spacious and we'll lit. Breakfast and dinner everyday was extremely delicious and beyond expectations. We were two people and the quantity and quality of food was too good. The staff was too good. Extremely polite. Hospitality was beyond expectations. We also sang and played guitar for fun in the evenings! We plan to go there often now. They treat you as royalty in the hotel !!

We loved absolutely everything

Room is good but the food rates are too expensive and moreover they are charging more than what is mentioned in the menu card. There are several instances...there are lots of things to mention and I will definitely mention the same to the google review within 1 or 2 day.

There are several instances.....i.e. In menu mutton rate is mentioned 350/- however they have charged 450/- ... At the time of checkout they have given the food bill where several things are charged extra and when I questioned that, there reply is the pieces of the food are better that's why they have charged extra. "Breakfast is complementary" that is mentioned in the menu card and we have ordered Puri sabzi after checking the same in menu card. However they have charged rs. 30/- for a single Puri and the worse thing is the sabzi is also charged of 80/-... There are many more things charged unethically by the hotel. I have tried to connect with booking.com but their Customer Service is completely worse. I will not book any hotel further from booking.com and also I will escalate this matter to social media.

I have been there for couple of days and stay were excellent - this is the new property with perfect location for vacation and relaxation. The staffs specifically the manager, Kushal and supporting staffs were too kind & supportive with provision of tasty food.

View from the hotel can be the only reason to travel to Deolo. Clean and ppecious rooms, 180 degree view of Kanchenjunga and river Teesta from the balcony. Great service. Great location - 5 min walk to Deolo Park. We were a group of 6, booked 3 rooms with balcony. Best decision.

Food can be better, but the courteousness of the staff makes up for more.

The highlight was undoubtedly the amazing view of the Kanchanjenga mountains from the balcony. Each morning, I could see the majestic Kanchanjenga mountains from our spacious, comfortable balcony. The view was stunning, with clouds and mist creating a beautiful scene. The quiet was perfect, with only birds chirping in the background. The staff served fresh, simple, and healthy food that made me feel right at home. ( Do ask for the churpi chutney he made) Overall, the property offered a peaceful, relaxing experience with incredible views and great food.

There’s nothing like I didn’t like but there were a few minor things that could be improved. The room could have a fan or air conditioning, as it gets quite hot in the afternoon, sometimes making it uncomfortable. Also, with the sliding windows open, flying insects can come inside at night, so a fan would help. Additionally, having a full length mirror in the room would be helpful since there’s only a small mirror in the bathroom. Another issue was the cab service getting a shuttle cab can be difficult if you’re staying up in Delo. Other than these points, everything else was fine.
