SAT2 - Modern 2 bedroom apartment with ocean view

Positive Aspects: It’s 10 minutes away from the port. There’s a great Italian restaurant nearby. There’s free parking in front of the building.

I was looking for a decent apartment for two couples to spend some time in Marbella and came across this property, which looked decent and had good reviews. However, everything fell apart once we arrived. Communication with Host: The host is a company that manages numerous apartments, and it’s painfully clear they don’t care if something goes wrong with your accommodation. Parking Nightmare: We were informed that car parking was available in an underground garage. However, we received no keys and no one answered our calls about how to access the garage. The next day, we had to go to their office to get the keys. Their excuse? "We got into possession of these keys too late to give them to you." Deposit Issue: We were asked for a 500-euro damage deposit, which was supposed to be returned five days after checkout. We checked out on Saturday, and by the following Friday, they hadn’t issued the refund. I had to threaten them with a chargeback through the credit card company to get them to start the process, even after contacting their 'customer service’ multiple times. Water Problems: For two days, there was no water in the building (no toilet, no shower). When we asked for updates, we were repeatedly told, "Sure, sure, we will get you updates," but I had to personally go down, find the workers, and ask them for information. Apartment Condition: The apartment does not look like the pictures—things are much worse, and not everything works properly. The washing machine was leaking water. The showers were poorly maintained. The apartment was extremely dirty upon arrival. There was so much dust and sand, even on the nightstands, that we had to buy our own cleaning supplies. The bed sheets were dirty. We asked for replacements, which came after two days, and they only replaced one mattress cover. Regardless of the length of your stay, you get only one set of towels. Need a new set? That’s another 5 euros per set.

Beautiful apartment, great location.

Views and location were amazing. Bed really comfortable and appmt had everything we needed.

Building was a little tired and needs some attention.
