Glyme Flat - Peaceful Country Retreat!

We absolutely loved our stay. We came with our two little children and absolutely loved the house. There is so much space the beds are so comfy. The host is so lovely we even got stuck in the snow and two lovely people came to help us with the biggest smiles on their faces. The only thing I would say is that the walls are very thin, so you can hear the neighbours which I know can’t be helped, but if you have a little one that you’re trying to get to sleep it’s very hard but that is the only thing everything else was absolutely perfect. Will definitely be revisiting thank you so very much.

Bed was uncomfortable - matress was very bad. Room was cold, heating didnt work in the bedrooms - very warm in the living room. But the worst was being woken every morning at 5:45 by the kids next door - running, shouting etc. Sounded like they were in the same room.

Lots of space - might have been nice to have another comfy chair in front of the TV. Great to have two proper beds, not an adult bed and two single beds. Once we sorted the heating it was nice and warm.

The location pin on booking.com was in completely the wrong place. I picked it because I wanted to be in walking distance to a pub and shop but it definitely wasn’t! Turned out to be a lovely location but wasn’t what we originally wanted. Someone had turned all the heating off, including the towel rail, so it was 8 degrees when we got there. As a small aside - The peeler was broken when we got there.

Radiator controls in both bedrooms, as well as in the living room. Which we hadn’t realised when we arrived.

very peaceful, very clean property in slightly odd surroundings in parts. Very comfortable and would return.

The wall from the bedroom to the adjoining property is very thin and a little disturbing when people walked around during the night!

A quiet, easy living, farm atmosphere to really relax and unwind.

The washer is placed in a separate building which may be a hassle to manage.

The property was lovely and well kitted out. Loved the exposed beams and country vibes.
