Misty Morn- stunning home in East Neuk

We loved Misty Morn, the rooms were all very spacious and clean with high quality furnishings. The house was very cosy and well situated for walking into the town. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of dishes and utensils. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean , the towels were a good size and very soft.

The kitchen tap did not work , it was broken when we arrived. I did report this as soon as we unpacked but nothing was done about it. It was very frustrating as we had to try to manipulate both hot and cold taps to get the water to come out, we got so fed up with it, the cold tap actually came off in our hands.! One other point is that the garden is not safe at all, the pictures on the website do not show how steep the stairs are and the grass area is not safe at all being very high up, we could not use the garden at all.

Perfect location and size/type of property for our group holiday (5 adults and 4 children under 5).

Clearer instructions on what to do with rubbish/recycling would have been appreciated. We didn't know what to do with our recycling and couldn't find the seagull bags we were meant to put the rubbish in. Also, it was difficult to get on street parking very near the property.

The decor was beautiful and comfortable. The space was ideal for a group of six. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was in working order. The location was perfect for exploring the area.

It was disappointing that we were unable to use the outside area as the furniture was very dirty - covered in bird’s droppings and green mould. The weather was exceptionally good during the weekend (which was the forecast) so it was regrettable that we could not use the outside space as advertised. It would be worth checking that the furniture is cleaned before the next booking.

Absolute home from home. Spotlessly clean, welcoming and with such lovely touches. You won't be disappointed booking here. Fantastic outside space and staff. A few minutes walk from all the shops and restaurants, the beach and rock pools.

Parking is hit or miss but we all always got parked within a minutes walk.

All rooms in the the house were large. Decorated beautifully. Large dining kitchen. We'll equipped. Great location

Steps up to garden a bit steep

The space, comfort and facilities really made it a home from home! Originally booked to go to a property in balloch through airbnb and due to false advertising that aurbnb advocated we were left looking for somewhere else just last month & so pleased it all worked out amazingly well as it was for special family time together & this property was just perfect
