New Studio with Balcony , General Luna

La chambre est mignonne, le petit balcon est sympa et c’est propre

J’ai du mal à comprendre comment on peut installer des escaliers comme ceux-là dans un logement. C’est très dangereux : on ne peut poser qu’une moitié de pied sur chaque marche, et il y a un grand espace entre elles. Ensuite, il y a un vrai problème d’insonorisation. Il est très difficile de dormir la nuit entre les voitures, les klaxons et les chants religieux tôt le matin… On entend tout. J’étais précédemment dans un logement juste en face de celui ci et ce n’était pas aussi mal insonorisé. Enfin, le lit est très dur

A really comfortable place, it has everything you need, good air conditioning and a very central location. The owner of the apartment is charming and provides everything you need.

De ligging is super centraal, de douche is heerlijk en ook het bed is comfortabel. Fijn om een eigen keukentje en balkon te hebben. Alles is schoon en netjes. De eigenaar reageerde snel als ik een vraag had.

Er is een wat onhandige trap. Je hoort best veel ruis van al het verkeer dat voorbij komt. Er was geen warme deken, maar toen ik hierom vroeg werd dit direct geregeld. Dit was alleen een redelijk klein fleecedeken dus dat was wat onprettig. Er is geen plek waar je je spullen op kan slaan als je uit hebt gecheckt maar nog niet direct richting het vliegveld hoeft. Hierdoor moest ik bij omliggende hotels gaan vragen of ik daar mijn spullen kon stallen.

The room was actually nice and modern, but I only recommend it if you can sleep with really loud noises. Walkable distance to basically everything you need in General Luna. We never saw the owners but they were actually really nice and helpful over the phone.

The noise is a big problem in this property. It’s basically like having a bed on the sidewalk beside a busy road. Furthermore you can hear every word the neighbors downstairs say. One night the neighbors had a phone call from 1:30am to 3am on speaker and you could hear it so well that you could even hear every word the person on speaker said. If you have a very deep sleep I can recommend this place.

I had a wonderful stay at New Studio General Luna! The place was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed — perfect for both relaxation and remote work. The location is ideal, close to great cafes, restaurants, and surf spots, yet still peaceful and private. The hosts were very accommodating and made sure everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. I truly appreciated their warmth and attention to detail. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Siargao who’s looking for comfort, convenience, and a touch of island charm. I’d definitely stay here again! 🌴✨
