Location, the lodge is on a corner plot which was nice and private

Perfect location in a glorious environment, ideal for seeing the local area, and great for our dog, with walks through the woods and along the coast.

No real negatives to report

Location was perfect, easy to get to local attractions like Bempton Cliffs, gently stroll through the grounds to the lovely links golf course and club house who served a great breakfast and lunch but would have been nice if they were open for dinner or a drink in the evening. Easy walk to Sewerby Hall, along the cliffs and down to the beach although a lot of steps, there are passes in the lodge for the Hall grounds but you have to pay to visit the house and zoo. Very clean and comfortable lodge, will definitely be booking again.

Very comfortable property. Comfy sofa. We liked having blankets/throws for the sofa. Nice to have salt, pepper and cooking oil in the cupboard. Quiet site so we all slept well.

The passes to the Sewerby Hall grounds were a nice touch, but it would be good to have a map of the area around the hall with the correct entrance/exit marked. We got lost and the wrong one & they wanted to charge us. Also, no corkscrew in the kitchen. Both minor issues though. It’s a lovely property.

The lodge was spacious and airy, set in pleasant surroundings handy for our visit to Sewerby Hall and an easy 2 mile walk into Bridlington.

The heating was locked down and there were opened packets of food left in the freezer and cupboards. Some surfaces needed another wipe over.

Beautiful Lodge in a very quiet area. Lots to do in surrounding areas too
