Sunset Penthouse, Fjord View & Parking

We stayed here for a couple of nights for work. The apartment is spacious, clean, and conveniently located close to the city center. Communication with Sean was excellent, and the views (especially when the sun is shining) are beautiful. Picking up the keys upon arrival was seamless. Highly recommended for anyone looking to spend a few days in the city, whether for work or leisure.

I had the most incredible stay at Sunset Penthouse! The location is perfect, just a short distance from Trondheim’s top attractions. The apartment is spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with two cozy bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a lovely sun terrace that made the stay even more enjoyable. There’s fast WiFi, private parking, and even a mini market nearby for convenience. I also appreciated that the apartment offers complete privacy with its private entrance, 24-hour security, and self check-in. The host was very nice and welcoming, and super responsive. The location couldn’t be better. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Trondheim – it’s an absolute gem!

The space felt good overall and had a nice view. It was fairly spacious for being in an attic. When we arrived, the place was clean, and there was a large couch where our whole family could relax together. Our host was very responsive to my questions. The host quickly advised us on local transportation and questions about the space. There are some nice bakeries and restaurants within walking distance if you can walk up and down some steep hills. We easily rented scooters in the neighborhood.

A few things made the space problematic. It is at the top of a very steep hill. The entrance is around the back of the building and up a steep gravel driveway. Once inside, the unit is up two steep sets of narrow winding stairs. Getting our luggage and older parents into the unit was difficult. If you're young and not hauling much it wouldn't be a problem. The unit could also use a little maintenance. We had trouble with the shower leaking onto the bathroom floor and the handheld showerhead not staying on the wall. There was a musty smell in the bathroom as well, but I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Overall, it was a nice place and we would stay there again if traveling with less luggage.

We really enjoyed to stay in this beautiful and unique Penthouse. It is absolutely clean and fully equipped with everything you need, the perfect place for a family. We specifically liked the Italian style decoration. We would love to come back
