Beautifully renovated with all listed amenities. A lovely touch was the welcome basket which included some local wine and cheese. Hosts had wonderful local recommendations and a personal approach to hosting which was appreciated.

Great place inside the old town. All apartment very well decorated, with a swimming pool, patio. Great place to stay! The owner was very helpful and friendly!

Exceptional apartment! We were greeted by the hosts and many things were explained to us. Great conversation and they made you feel right at home. Such great hosts and very helpful. Apartment was close to many places in the old town. Would recommend to stay here.

The apartment in Évora was a gem. Just a short walk to the historic center, it consists of 2 good size bedrooms, a large sitting room, a good size bathroom, and a dining room, and kitchen. The kitchen doors open onto a large balcony with comfortable chairs and a table, and access to a lovely garden, with a small pool. It was a great place to return to after a day of touristing. Then, of course, there are the wonderful hosts, Antonía and Luis, who devoted a lot of time to renovating the old building Luis had inherited from his family, preserving some of the old, while adding more contemporary features. They were at the apartment when we arrived, showed us where everything was, including booklets for appliances (At other places we had to search for these.) and spent a lot of time with us offering recommendations for sights and restaurants, including restaurants with vegetarian options. We would recommend at least three nights in Evora, to see the Roman ruins, the beautiful church of St. Francis with its interesting chapel of bones, and just enjoy the city, and its plethora of peacocks. Not to be forgotten are the megaliths located out of town and thought to predate Stonehenge, as well as the trails (walking and biking).

Charming, very well located, large apartment. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Furnished with beautiful and comfortable family antiques. Beautiful large garden/courtyard with a nice dipping pool. Would very definitely stay here again

As should be expected of an old stone building in early spring, it was cold for the first day or so. My only suggestion might be to have robes and slippers available for those mornings.

Location is good within the old walls with free parking just 200m away. Also easy walk to the central square and the attractions. Many good restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes walk. Felt safe to walk around, but that was generally the case everywhere we went in Portugal. The hosts were exceptional and good with info and recommendations for food, etc. The apartment was super spacious, more space than we needed. Comfortable too. So a thumbs up and no hesitation to recommend it.

Luis and Antonia are the most welcoming, informative and caring hosts. Their passion for making visitors have the best experience and for Evora is so evident. The apartment was lovely and spacious and the garden / outdoor area was a welcome retreat. At 36 degrees .. the plunge pool was a welcome treat! The air conditioning was very effective and so appreciated.The local treats were such a nice surprise ! Thus was a fabulous spot and Antonia and Luis were THE BEST hosts ever!

Enormous apartment, beautifully decorated and fully equipped and with outdoor space in a great location in the old town. Luis and Antonia are perfect hosts - friendly, informative and fun to chat to. We loved everything about our stay here. Highly recommended.
