The Acorn @ Skyfall Country Estate

Specious ,clean house with a well equipped kitchen which was great because we cooked our breakfast for the entire duration of our stay and could do laundry. We stayed for 9 days. The owner offered new clean towels quite regularly and was easy to talk to. The area was beautiful and quiet. She made a gas heater available for use throughout the stay and she was easy to reach when needed. The property looked exactly as the photos advertised at the time we booked.

We regularly ran low on electricity and had to contact owner on multiple occasions ( atleast 3 times) regarding the electricity for her to top it up each time she would do so but was always for very little units which would not last as we cook. This honestly put me off and dampened the stay for me , I was on a holiday and yet I'd regularly feel a bit worried about electricity,there has been two occasions where I bought the electricity myself because I started feeling like maybe I am becoming a nuisance for frequently texting her about it ( she doesn't know this and she has never asked me to do that) I felt this was unfair and not acceptable as I had fully paid and booked for my stay a few months in advance. The host knew we would stay long and should have atleast ensured there was enough electricity, it would have been understandable to call her regarding it once but multiple times is not acceptable. I hope they do better with their next clients.

We didn't have the breakfast, next time cause we sorted ourselves. The location is fine give one time to reconnect and bond.

Staying for a longer period to enjoy the place and stay to Africa's Eden- Limpopo and knowing very well that i have a perfect place to relax after a long day.

The farm is peaceful and quiet, perfect place for relaxation.
