The Riverview Hotel - New Smyrna Beach

Das Hotel an sich ist sehr schön. Man merkt, dass es sich um ein historisches Gebäude handelt aber das macht den Charme aus. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und wir hatten einen großen Balkon mit Blick auf den River. Morgens haben wir sogar Delfine sehen können. Alle Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend und haben uns sogar Musik am Pool angemacht. Die Lage ist klasse, nur die Straße runter befindet sich der Strand und es gibt zahlreiche Restaurants und auch Boutiquen. Das Frühstück bekommt man im Café nebenan. Man bringt einen Voucher mit zum Café wo man sich vorher für eine von fünf Speisen entscheidet, es war sehr lecker.

Es gab leider keine Minibar/Minifridge um ein paar Getränke oder Snacks für den Strand zu kühlen, aber das war in Ordnung, da wir es vorher wussten.

Location was great and the pool area was lovely.

Our bed turned out to be a double rather than a queen but it was very comfortable. We made it work. Sink faucet was too close to shelf above it.

Stairs, stairs, stairs. This location is an antique. You must realize that when booking. The bathrooms are small and there is no elevator for those who have difficulty with stairs. But, the experience was still very good and I will definitely return.

Their rudeness when having to check out on an emergency! Had 3 nights booked & got call first night needed to come home my mother was in bad decline in hospice ! Lady was rude & would not offer 2 day refund ! Even had the nerve to ask me if I drank the bottle of wine in room that if I did I would owe for that as well ! Not caring at all - all about the money, no compassion !
