Amazing Lake View Apartment with Pool and 2 Terraces, Modern Urio, by STAYHERE-LAKECOMO

Overall, our stay was nice. Beautiful property with unobstructed views. Spiral stairway not suitable for younger children. We were afraid our 2 year old might fall through the gap at the top of the stairway. A car is a must to get around and access the local shop, restaurants and playground which is not located next to the property but a 20 min walk downhill. The apartment is located in one of the quieter towns in Lake Como and is perfect for those seeking a quiet holiday. Regrettably, the property was not very clean. No cleaning equipment provided whatsoever, no disinfectant for surfaces, washup liquid etc. Sweeping brush was ordered but never arrived. Disappointing to have to source these products on trip. For the price we paid, these are basic necessities and it was disappointing that we couldn’t enjoy a nice clean holiday. Host was pleasant.

Parkplatzsuche manchmal etwas schwierig Fußweg zum See recht steil, man sollte in guter Form sein Kein Besen oder Staubsauger vorhanden, auf Nachfrage leider erst nach unserer Abreise von der Reinigungsfirma geliefert

Amazing views of lake with two terraces and Swimming pool with the view of the lake and mountains. Clean Kitchen and bathroom. Wifi and TV were great ! Hosts were very friendly and kind. Available via Whatsapp on short notice even on weekend.

Unfortunately, there was no dedicated parking for the accomadation and its approximately 5 minutes walk on uneven and rugged surface to nearest available public parking space. Else it could be 10 minutes climb up steep slope with luggages. On peak season these public parking are not available and we have to go down the hill to next available public parking.

View is exceptional, the bed linen is very nice, clean, looks new. We’ve find everything to cook. There is a boat museum nearby, you can swim in the lake in 20-25 minutes walk, ride a boat, shops or pharmacies work at certain times, keep in mind. A large supermarket is far away. In general, the town is quiet and there are very few tourists, which is comfortable for staying.

Without a car it will be difficult to get up and down to the apartment, especially with children. But if you like walking, it will be ok.
