Manuela Studio Apartments, 4th floor, no elevator

From bathroom comes from a awful smell , i dont know why .but it is really disturbing

The location was AMAZING, step outside the door and you’re in the main square. The apartment is so chic as well :)

I liked the location, and the easiness of booking- we practically booked it a night before arrival. Also, the place was brand new and very clean.

The room is in the attic and a big part of it is attic roof. My partner is tall and it presented a problem for him. Also, there was the sewage smell coming from the bathroom.

In square and easy to get to the places I needed to go. Had everything you could need!

Lots of stairs and no elevator so just be aware!

Great location. Very clean & comfortable studio. I recommend this studio if you are fit to climb stairs & travelling with minimal luggage.

1. Prior to booking I was not made aware the studio was on the 4th floor & there is no elevator. 2. There is no parking dedicated to this accommodation. There is however public street parking. When filtering for accommodation with parking, this should not appear. Because I was travelling with an elderly parent, I wish I was made aware of this in advance because my booking was non-refundable.

Very nice and clean apartment, the location is very excellent. On main square! Cafe bars next to the aprtments building, very good coffee.

Clean and tidy staff was good in communication

The flat in the 4th floor no lift only stairs, didn’t mention that in the apparent description! ! if you have heavy bag will be a problem

This property is newly listed on Booking.com so only had one review with no comments. Hoping my comments are not a criticism, more feedback for the owner and subsequent guests as it was beautifully presented. Fantastic location just a couple of minutes walk to the trams, Bana Jelacic square, Cathedral, tourist information, bars, cafes and restaurants. The accommodation looks brand new and is very nicely decorated, very clean and the bed (two single mattresses on a double base) comfy. Kitchen area had plenty of cutlery, crockery pots with a one plate electric hotplate (no microwave or oven), kettle, sink, good size fridge with small freezer section. Bathroom had a shower, toilet and sink with lovely new appliances. Opening windows, wardrobe, table and two chairs, aircon/heating and TV. Information guides in English & Hungarian were a very nice touch too.

The accommodation is on the 4th floor with no lift so you have to be able to carry your luggage up 83 steps. Only after booking are you're told this information but they do offer to assist with luggage if you need it. The instructions to enter the property were very clear with a door code and keysafe lock. Once you climb the stairs, straight ahead is a sign showing, Manuela 1, you need to turn right along the small hallway with - at the time we were there - lots of renovation debris. Manuela 2 is the first door on the left but there is no sign to tell you this. The accommodation should be classed as a studio not an apartment as the bed, kitchen and dining area are all in the one area. Very compact with not much space to move around. The shower was so small that when you bend down to pick up your shampoo etc. it's hard not to turn off the shower with one part of your body, and we are quite trim people. There were no towel rails (other than a couple of small ones under the sink) to air your towels so with no extractor fan or window, we hung our towels over the wardrobe doors to dry. I wouldn't call the kitchen fully equipped as you would be hard pressed to cook a meal so we prepared our own breakfast and sandwiches for lunch but plenty of restaurants to choose from closeby. At the weekend, being so close to the square, you hear the trams going past early and quite late and lots of noise from music events and people eating and drinking.
