Beautiful cottage! View is breathtaking. Cosy, tastefully decorated, extremely well equipped and spotless. Very comfortable bed with lovely linen …..oh and the bathrobe - I could happily have lounged all day in front of the log fire in that super comfy gown!!!! Hopefully next time we’ll braai on the lovely deck in the sunshine!! Ronnie you were an absolute pleasure to meet (Bertie even more so) and couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful.

We had a lovely stay, the cottage is in a fantastic location, it was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The view from the sitting room and balcony is 2nd to none. We were greeted by Ronnie on arrival, who gave us a run down of the cottage and information regarding local shops etc. Perfect location for a quiet, relaxing weekend away exploring the local area.

Our recent stay at Mondhui Farm's "The Old Barn" cottage was exceptional. Ronnie and Laura provided outstanding hospitality and impeccable service. Their dog, Bertie, even served as our tour guide, leading us on afternoon walks, showcasing his superior knowledge of the area. Bertie also interacted wonderfully with our dog. Their four unique holiday homes offer stunning views of Lake of Menteith and are impeccably clean, comfortable, and genuinely pet-friendly. We highly recommend Mondhui Farm to friends and family and would gladly return.

The property is reached by way of a private road, and therefore nicely isolated from any potential disturbance the A81 below may cause -- the peace and quiet are absolute. The view from the terrace is really stunning. The house itself is nice and cosy. Also, the location really ideal to explore the east side of the Trossachs National Park.

I honestly can't think of anything negative to say. Our stay was truly enjoyable from start to finish.

The location is beautiful and the house is cozy. The view to the lake is amazing and it's only a drive away from the lake, some really nice restaurants and Stirling. It was a nice welcome and when we asked for more wood for the fireplace they were quick on helping. Also, a nice welcome pack with some essentials and a letter with some guidance on things to do nearby :)

It was a shame because the location is amazing but we chose this place and drove over 4h because we thought it would be a single house connected to the farm, but there were more cottages; one can be seen from the living room area as it's got the big window so it wasn't as private/secluded as we thought based on the pictures and description. We had a couple of people peek over from their balcony and the garden to our balcony/living room a couple of times- we had no issue saying hi and all but as I said, we chose this place with the intention to have a couple of days to ourselves, without neighbours. The cottage itself was a bit noisy, probably due to age. The floors are squeaky and the bathroom takes a while to stop after flushing. We could also hear everything happening in the farm that connects, especially the bathroom and footsteps, so we were woken up a few times. Also, the fire alarm went off one of the nights which scared the life out of us as nothing was on fire but we managed to stop it quickly! Overall it was a nice place but not as relaxing and secluded as we anticipated based on other comments, pictures and description.
