Mystiko Maisonette with Hot Tub - Chania Old Town

We had a wonderful stay and couldn't have asked for more. The accommodations were extremely clean, well stocked with everything we needed - including a laundry machine, kitchen, and a patio - which made us feel comfortable and right at home. We were even treated to a lovely welcome package of treats. The hot tub was also a nice bonus! Location-wise, it was quiet and tucked away and very convenient for everything we wanted to do, located in the old town and close to transportation, shopping, groceries, cafes and restaurants, the harbour, beach, parks, nightlife, and so on, all within 5-15 minutes walking distance. What really made the stay special was our incredibly accomodating host, Maria, who greeted us upon arrival and went above and beyond by answering all our questions, offering great local recommendations, helping us book local tours, and making sure all our needs were addressed throughout our stay. A wonderful experience and highly recommended!

One small note for future guests: the property has quite a few staircases, so if anyone in your group has accessibility or mobility needs or difficulty with stairs, I'd recommend they take the first floor bedroom that has a washroom and a little fridge. Just keep in mind, which is clearly shown in the photos, that the first floor bedroom is open concept, with the adjacent bathroom / hot tub area separated by a curtain, and stairs leading to the second floor, so if you're looking for more privacy or separation, it may not fit your needs. As a family, we had no issue with it at all.

Just to get an idea: we parked on arrival Thursday night and we took the car again Sunday afternoon to go back home. This place is really in the heart of Chania and everything is close.

Το "Mystiko Maisonette with Hot Tub - Chania Old Town" βρίσκεται στην καρδιά της παλιάς πόλης των Χανίων και από πλευράς τοποθεσίας είναι το ιδανικό κατάλυμα για να μείνει μία Οικογένεια. Σε αυτόν τον τομέα το κατάλυμα παίρνει άριστα καθώς όποιος μένει σε αυτό βρίσκεται σε απόσταση αναπνοής από όλα τα hot σημεία της παλιάς πόλης των Χανίων. Ο ιδιοκτήτης του καταλύματος είναι ένας ιδιαίτερα ευγενικός κύριος και η υποδοχή με welcome gifts ήταν εξαιρετική. Οι παροχές του καταλύματος ήταν τέλειες, σύγχρονες και πλήρεις καθώς το κατάλυμα είναι πλήρως εξοπλισμένο με όλα όσα χρειάζεται μια Οικογένεια για πολυ-ημέρη διαμονή.

Δυστυχώς τα προβλήματα που αντιμετωπίσαμε κατά τη διαμονή μας στα Χανιά από τις 3 Αυγούστου μέχρι και τις 18 Αυγούστου που διήρκησε η διαμονή μας στο κατάλυμα ήταν αυτά της καθαριότητας και του WiFi του καταλύματος. Κατά τη διάρκεια των 16 ημερών που βρισκόμασταν στο κατάλυμα, δυστυχώς η καθαριότητα έγινε μόνο 3 φορές και ήταν κάτι πρωτόγνωρο για εμάς καθώς έχουμε συνηθίσει από όλες τις κρατήσεις μας μέσω Booking σε όλα τα καταλύματα αντίστοιχων τιμών με το "Mystiko Maisonette with Hot Tub - Chania Old Town" να έχουμε είτε καθημερινή καθαριότητα είτε τουλάχιστον μία φορά ανά δύο ημέρες. Στην συγκεκριμένη περίπτωση η καθαριότητα και η αλλαγή σεντονιών και πετσετών γινόταν ανά τέσσερις ή πέντε ημέρες και αυτό είναι κάτι που επηρεάζει αρκετά τη σχέση ποιότητας-τιμής και τη γενική βαθμολογία του καταλύματος. Επίσης το WiFi έδινε ταχύτητες maximum 7-10Mbps κάτι που δημιουργούσε προβλήματα σύνδεσης όταν σε αυτό συνδέονταν περισσότερες από 2 συσκευές.

3 flowers, too many stairs, no privacy for 2 copels, it is not 2 rooms, 1st very small room, 2nd large open space immediately entering the apartment. The neighbours local or other in b&b are looking into yr apartment.

Their recommendations for local dining and attractions were spot on, enhancing our visit to Chania. Staying at the Mystiko Maisonette with Hot Tub was an unforgettable experience, combining the best of Chania’s historical charm with the luxuries of modern amenities. We left with memories to cherish and a promise to ourselves to return.
