Woodlands Retreat, your own private lounge, bedroom, Bathroom and the use of a hot tub, we also live here

Was met at the property door by host. Straight away introduced herself with a very warm welcome. The small things made our stay even more special from having an amazing aroma throughout the whole property to the fresh flowers , drinks and a small range of snacks within the room. Having access to our own private bathroom, lounge and bedroom, plus the use of a very private hot tub area was above and beyond the description and expectations on the website. I dont not anything negative to say other than, we didnt want to leave. We will definitely be returning as a great place to stay for a couple away from the children who just want a place to relax that isnt just a hotel room with a public bar area. We loved every minute of it.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Sharon and Dave were so welcoming and we loved chatting with them , lovely couple. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, lovely lounge area to sit and have tea and watch tv- prime and Netflix a massive bonus . There was a coffee making machine in the room as well as a fridge and microwave. The bedroom was lovely, the bed was so comfy and we had a lovely nights sleep. We had a fridge in our bedroom with water , juice and milk and the biscuits and chocolates were a lovely touch from hosts who really care about their guests. Lovely bathroom. The hot tub was amazing and its covered incase it rains, so relaxing sitting in on an evening with the lights on and lovely and private and a nice seating area just by it where we enjoyed a few drinks. Although you get total privacy we really enjoyed the company of the hosts who showed us around and it was lovely meeting their dogs Lola, Flossy,Dexter and Billy. If your not dog lovers you wont see or here them but we are and asked to meet them and loved seeing them.A lovely relaxing night away and looking forward to returning

Absolutely nothing to dislike!

Sharon and David were very welcoming and kind without being intrusive or over attentive. They set me up then left me be - perfect hosts. There was everything I could have wished for and more: kettle, fridge with chilled water and real milk in the bedroom; a microwave, toaster, crockery, cutlery and trays for TV dinner in the lounge. A pod coffee maker too, croissants, chocolates and biscuits galore. I didn’t in the end use the hot tub but it looked great. Everything was thoughtfully and pleasantly presented. I couldn’t have wanted for more. Thank you so much.
