Aside form the above, the main advantage of this apartment is the location near the vibrant 'mercato del capo' market. The apartment was clean. Good value for money. Still would not book it again.

Entry to apartment through an app you install on your phone. So if your battery dies you're locked out. We couldn't use the second bedroom because the closet was used to store paint buckets and the smell was too strong and irritating in the small stuffy room. So we had to set up the bed on the couch in the living room and the host tried to charge us 50 euros for "soiled sheets" after we checked out.

Nice, clean apartment close to the city centre. Shop and market nearby, easy access to the main sights. Great for 4 people.

The entry process to the apartment was very complicated and we had to wait fairly long to be able to get in. It is certainly not user-friendly, especially for those who are not experienced in using mobile apps (e.g. my parents). Bed linen not included in the price.

"short sweet stay in Palermo - east check in"
