Impressive 3 bed cottage by the river in Stanhope

Lovely, cosy and well equipped

Couldn’t get any TV reception only Netflix

The cottage was exceptionally clean upon our arrival and tastefully decorated. It is nicely furnished throughout, and we had everything we could possibly need. The beds in all 3 rooms are very comfortable, and we felt rested. The garden is an absolute delight. Garden furniture allowed us to dine alfresco and to make the most of the surroundings and the gorgeous weather. The location of the cottage is iidyllic, very peaceful. The host was very responsive and considerate and helpful.

There was nothing to dislike.

The property was furnished to a very high standared and the appliaces were excellent

We could have been meet by the house keeper and all this explained. We could had had written docemments in relation to the cooker dish washer and the heating system. A numer to call the house keeper woud have been of great help. One of the mast important thing to conside was there were no logs available for the fire

2nd visit here in 3 months. Such a great location on the river and stones throw away from the shops and pubs. It is so peaceful. Cottage has everything you could possibly need. It is very modern and clean. Enclosed private garden was great for the dogs and sitting out when it was nice weather. The owner is fantastic and responds to any messages very quickly. We will be returning soon. Thanks again 😊

Well fitted out, nice garden.

NO CAR PARKING IN THE VICINITY OF THE PROPERTY!!. Very difficult for two pensioners. Some issues with the cleaning of the property reported to owner but no response.

Loved staying here, just perfect. We will be back soon. Value for money was great. Everything you could possibly need. Location 10/10. Neighbours and host were so lovely and helpful. So quiet and peaceful.
