Secluded, peaceful with everything available that was necessary for my comfort. I also appreciated the fact that the host left me to myself and will certainly hope to repeat the experience.

I found the washbasin plug a real mystery to operate but due to time constraints did not contact my host for help as I could have.

I have chronic M.E (Myalgic Encephalomyeltis) and really needed a break away from home. We found Rose Hideaway to be delightful. A great deal of thought had gone into it's design, making it a very relaxing and peaceful environment. Although we didn't venture far, the surrounding Forest of Dean is beautiful, and my wife enjoyed short walks along the local lanes and footpaths. Upon our arrival we discovered that the hosts had kindly left us some fresh eggs, milk, a loaf of bread and some butter which was much appreciated. We would love to return.

Great location, warm, comfortable and our dog loved it 🐾 he can be quite fussy!

The Wi-Fi wasn’t very good, we kept losing connection

The accommodation was great and comfortable. The surrounding area was really peaceful and although you felt in the middle of no where, it was easy to get onto the main roads and get where you need to.

There really wasn’t anything I didn’t like, the only think I can think of that could have been better is the pillows felt as though they needed replacing, but it was a really lovely stay and I wish I was staying longer.

Beautiful Place,…. We will be back.
