Lovely place to stay. Was very clean. Lovely touches around the house. Harry was very kind and gave us lots of local advice. The stay was very peaceful, views were impeccable. Was a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend

Fantastic base for families visiting the Blackdowns and wider Somerset/Devon attractions. Beautiful uninterrupted views over rolling hills. Very well equipped, spacious self contained apartment with ample space for 5 or more. All fittings were of very high quality and the bathrooms in particular are fully tiled and have quality suites. Every surface was immaculately clean throughout the premises and nicely presented. Our host provided a very welcome selection of breakfast essentials so it was possible to relax right from arriving. Could not fault anything about the property or location

Busy junction on dual carriageway to negotiate when leaving the road that leads to the property, please take care.some slight noise from M5 in the distance however this is probably only due to the total lack of noise pollution in this location other than that, it is a great place for those who like peace and quiet. Would have liked to be able to open some windows at hotter times of the day, but that is a very minor point and this period property has lots of characters and history.
