"Great place - A little slice of heaven"

9.0

Spacious, comfortable accommodation in beautiful surroundings. Close to many great locations for breathtaking scenery whilst hiking. Also close to quiet beaches. The host was very busy but still made time to ensure I had everything I needed - super friendly and helpful😊 Definitely recommend this place.

Traffic noise from the road that runs alongside the garden next to the chalet (this won’t bother a lot of people, I’m just a light sleeper).

"Comfy, good location for adventuring, nice staff, a bit noisy at night."

8.0

Very good use of space in the chalet. Easy to spend time there, spread out, and relax when not out adventuring. Comfy beds. Very large sofa in living room area.

The chalet is positioned right next to a long straight A road. It can get quite noisy as traffic speeds by, especially at night. The twin singles room is positioned right behind the kitchen fridge/freezer. The noise comes through the thin internal walls at night. Take earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The oven could do with being highlighted as a gas oven that needs ignition. This would be especially useful for people (like me) who have different hob/oven combos at home. I thought I'd turned the oven on to warm up. After 15 minutes, it was still cold. It was then that I realised that it was a gas oven that needed ignition, and i hadn't done that. Unfortunately, I have no sense of smell, so I could not tell if there was gas build up in the challet or not. Fearing the potential of firy explosive drama and chaos, I opened all of the doors and windows for an hour so that any potential gas build-up could disperse before lighting the burner and starting diner again. Looking back, it was quite comical, even though it caused a lot of panic at the time. A little note by the oven would have been very helpful.

"Lovely family getaway"

A lovely chalet in a stunning location with distant views to the sea and mountains. We could stroll to the beautiful local beach in around 30 minutes.

Can’t think of anything.
