Spacious 3-Bed Penthouse with City Sky Line Views

The location of this penthouse is perfect for visiting sheffield, the views are beautiful and the space was vast, lots of room for all 6 of us and comfy beds to sleep in, the property is very warm which I love.. some may hate that.. but for us it was perfect.. there was lots of kitchen equipment if you did want to cook for yourself

On arrival we were given a code to enter the building however this was no longer applicable as they used a fob but we weren’t told, we tried to contact host no response but someone in the building let us in luckily, as an hour later they replied saying a fob system was in place but we hadn’t been told.. The cleanliness was ok, sheets and towels were good but upstairs in the living facilities there was old crisps on the chairs and sofa.. The fridge/freezer was broken and we were never told.. there was a replacement fridge but no freezer and no note stating this wasn’t working, we brought ice but after leaving in the freezer overnight this is when we discovered it didnt work. The showers were good, but only 3 people can shower a day, we had short body wash showers yet the property ran outve hot water so 3 people had to have cold showers Lastly the middle bedroom didn’t have any sort of lamp or light switch near the bed, so you had to do the dark dash bed Overall it was a lovely stay, but small things could’ve been done to make it perfect!

One of the toilet flushes was broken, clearly an ongoing issues Several of pans not compatible with induction hob Old, broken fridge,freezer dirty & smells. (A smaller fridge is provided)

Wonderful spacious apartment. Loved the puzzles/books and the small gift on arrival was a lovely touch. Kids loved being on the top floor. Hosts easy to get hold of. Would absolutely stay again when the kids were a bit older.

One of the toilets wasnt working and it was running the whole time which was mildly annoying. Fridge/freezer wasnt working but a replacement one was there although this had frosted over so we used the wine fridge. I wouldnt recommend for kids under the age of 4 as too many lovely things that could possibly get broken.

the view of the city centre is impressive; the apartment is spacious; our host was responsive to our queries; the location is very convenient with a short walk into the centre; car parking is secure and the building is reasonably quiet; the arrival information with photos was very helpful.

there are a number of small issues which could be easily addressed to make this a more highly rated rental. There is no welcome pack with instructions on how to use the appliances, etc.; the wardrobe doors in two bedrooms are off their runners and couldn't be opened; the beds squeak when you move and the pillows in the en-suite room are poor quality. New cleaners had started the day we arrived so maybe the cleanliness issues will be resolved but the apartment needed a deep clean really; the heating/air conditioning unit in the top floor living area did not work so it was cold in the evenings. Final, small point, the toiletries promised in the on-line information were not provided - we bought shampoo, etc. but it's another small thing which is easily solved.

Nice place with plenty of room.

Took us a while to work out how to use the kitchen appliances, could have used some instructions on how to use the microwave, oven, etc.

Great location, view, easy access by car. Comfortable living room.

It has a large living room

Neighbor was talking loud at 3am. Also neighbor’s dog was barking loud at 3am that woken me up. Cleaning wasn’t great.

On arrival it was clear one of the toilets was broken as we could hear the cistern running. We contacted the host who was very responsive but in the 48 hours we were there he couldn’t get anyone to look at it so we couldn’t use it during our stay. The property was generally clean as long as you didn’t look too closely in drawers etc and we did find a pair of dirty socks in the wardrobe. The bed boards were also loose & one wardrobe doors was broken, which didn’t affect the stay but could easily be sorted. The cafetière was also broken but fortunately we were handy for Wilko so ended up buying our own along with a corkscrew, which we also couldn’t find despite the lovely wine fridge. We also couldn’t use the advertised electric charging for the car, which the host was apologetic about.
