Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Guests will receive a rental agreement which must be signed and returned to the property prior to arrival. If guests do not receive the agreement on time, they should contact the property management company at the number on the booking confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. Please inform 2-Bed Flat at Monarchs Quay, Liverpool Waterfront in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. A damage deposit of GBP 200 is required. The host charges this 7 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Quiet hours after 11PM. Breach of quiet hours will result in a fee. - Strictly no stag or hen parties. Strictly NO smoking inside the property (Full deposit will be forfeited and additional fee will be incurred if signs of smoking have caused damage). A list of rules for waste management will be provided upon access. If this was not followed, a fee will be charged. Standard Late Checkout Fee will be charged for approved late check-outs. If a guest provides short notice for a late check-out or if our cleaners are already en-route or on-site and unable to proceed due to the guest's continued presence, a fee per hour will be incurred until departure, in addition to the cleaning fee. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Flat ok; check in process and customer service apalling"

Location was good for attending concert at the arena

Key collection process was awful. Keys are in a shop 8 min walk away from the accommodation. Code provided wasn’t working so it took 3 phone calls while taxi waited for 15mins outside to get the keys. I then arrived at the property and cleaner was still there! I had to wait outside the flat, sitting on the floor for 40 mins before I could check in; which at 7.5 months pregnant I was not happy about. I then get a phone call from the agency to tell me I was given the wrong keys and told ‘we would need someone to take them back to the shop’. Utterly infuriating given a) it was not my fault I was given the wrong keys after a 15 mins before wait and b) I was not able to check in at the agreed time. It honestly felt the accommodation was ran by amateurs rather than a professional agency.

"Excellent location"

Bedrooms were cosy and comfy and location was excellent Very good communication if you have any issues Picking up keys from a nearby shop was quick and easy and we chose to drive there on our way in which we'd recommend.

The lounge was a little bit like a student flat however we spent most of the time out and about and the bedrooms were lovely so chose to chill in there before bed!

We loved the location

Getting access to the property keys. Never been to Liverpool before so we got a taxi from the airport and our first stop was to a connivence shop where I had to show proof of booking and luckily the taxi driver waited for us and dropped us off at the apartment. We had an early morning flight to catch and my husband walked to the shop to leave back the keys whilst myself and children walked to the bus stop . The shop wasn’t opened at 6am but the owner did arrive 5minutes later to accept the keys. We don’t know what happens if you have to leave the apartment earlier than 6am ? We would suggest that the property owners use a wall mounted key box for practical purposes, which we noticed was used by other apartments The en-suite bathroom has a very high step

"After a really rocky start we had a great time in Liverpool"

Spacious and central for the city attractions.

We couldn’t get in when we arrived. We followed the instructions on the emails. We had been sent a 4 digit code after we paid the £30 deposit (well so we thought). We tried the code on every single key box 4 times each at least, but none of the boxes opened. This went on for 45 minutes, we were asking people who were coming and going, to be told that they had all had the same problems when they arrived. One man told us that the box numbers didn’t correspond to the property number so we tried to call the property but kept getting “call failed”. When another family arrived and had the same issues with the code and boxes, he did manage to speak with someone who told him he had to go to a local corner shop (8 minute walk) to pick up his keys. Our email all said to pick up at property. When the gentleman returned with his keys we decided that we may as well try, so off we went. Get to the shop, he now needs a 6 digit code which we don’t have. Called Booking.com 6 times and eventually got to speak with them to be told that we hadn’t paid the deposit £30, which I had paid on Friday morning after which I got sent the 4 digit code. My friend paid the money again and then the shop released the keys. We arrived at the property at 7pm and got in the apartment at 9.30pm. This is absolutely disgusting when we had paid £400. NO INSTRUCTIONS ON EMAIL OR AT THE PROPERTY. I would like some sort of compensation as we missed restaurant reservation, and our first night was ruined because of this.

"Nice flat, admin not great."

Very clean and comfortable. Efficient heaters.

Bathroom in bedroom has a very steep step, and a lip on the inside which was dangerous. Key collection from a shop 10 mins walk away which was not convenient, and info only provided at entry time. Large deposit taken, took 5 days to refund which is frankly dishonest, they expect it paid immediately and should refund it in the same timescale.

The apartment was amazing, didn’t even realise that one of the rooms had an en-suite until we arrived! All facilities in the apartment were amazing and functional there was nothing that we needed that wasn’t there, for example toiletries in the bathroom, clean bedsheets, clean fridge and the utensils in the kitchen to cook with! Pizza cutter and bottle opener for bottles of wine and pop bottles for the kids! The nicest experience I have had when staying in Liverpool so near to everything but also just that little bit away to be quiet!

Getting the key…we ended up going to a same named shop through sat nav as well for it and they were able to give us directions to the right place to receive the key an option of more than one would of been good! Trying to find the door to the large building, it was a struggle, we drove round the building a few times looking for the blue door I think it was described as when we did find it after asking a lot of people, we understood why there wasn’t better signage as it’s an entrance to lots of residential flats and isn’t an apartment complex for rental use.
