Beachside Bliss Castor Bay - Holiday by the Beach

Very good - location was really great, close enough to drive to the city attractions and right on the beach. Ian was a top communicator and went above and beyond including offering us the opportunity to arrive early and check out late. Pool, spa, and location were awesome, and great size for a family!

Excellent host, attention to detail and very accommodating. We very much enjoyed our stay. The place felt private, spacious and clean. Will be booking here again. I 100% recommend 😁

Good location

It was untidy. The pool hadn’t been cleaned and the filter was full. Debris was floating on the surface or had sunk to the bottom. It was being cleaned as we left. The bbq wasn’t working until day 2 and there wasn’t an oven or hob. There was an air fryer and microwave. There were piles of stored items in the corridor, and by the property entrance. It was advertised with an extra wc. There wasn’t one.

We had such an amazing stay and couldn’t have asked for a better host. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth, welcoming, and well thought out. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The place itself was perfect for my family — clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything set up to make us feel right at home. It was the ideal spot for us to relax, spend quality time together, and enjoy a much-needed break from our busy routine. Such a convenient place if you have kids cause the beach is right there aswell as the swings. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the effort put into making our stay special. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and family-friendly getaway. We would definitely love to come back again!

Had a beautiful stay. Ian, the host was excellent with communication and instructions. Very accommodating with any wishes we had. The property is amazing. Throughly enjoyed the hot tub. The pool table was a big hit too. The tui's singing every morning was heaven. Would highly recommend Ian's property.

Perfect location, exclusive use of pool and spa, well appointed with lots of extra amenities provided, and the host was welcoming and very accommodating

Excellent location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool and spa were great despite the inclement weather! Our host had friendly and clear communication that was much appreciated. Even though the property is occupied upstairs we felt seperate and our privacy respected. The living spaces are generously sized and the third bedroom doubles as the games/rumpus with a comfortable pull out couch. Delicious coffee just down the road/beach We hope to return one day!
