The location is amazing.

It’s a small place and the property had a damp smell as though the air hadn’t circulated for some time. We had to leave the windows and door open for hours to get rid of it. But as there’s only one window to the place, the air didn’t circulate well in the bedroom. The apartment wasn’t clean - there were stains on the chair cushions, and when you’ve paid a 75 euro fee for cleaning, you expect better. The bedsheets felt damp and my wife couldn’t sleep in the bed. The photos on booking.com didn’t match the configuration of the apartment living area. The apartment is in disrepair- a light was hanging off the wall, we couldn’t get the stovetop to work, and the insect screen on the window was broken. After 2 nights of not very much sleep, the property owners agreed to move us to their partner hotel, which was 150€ on Booking.com, as we couldn’t stay there any longer. That was regarded as full compensation by the owner, but in our opinion, it was insufficient when we’d paid an average of €120 a night for this apartment (including cleaning cost and tax).
