"The cottage was my base for the Storytelling Festival, so I used only the bedroom and bathroom."

I liked the looks of the interior and the comfort of the bed. The place has been very well cared for and would be great for a couple spending a vacation in the area.

The spiral staircase to the bedroom should be prominently mentioned in the description. It is not an easy climb and not every 91-year-old is as limber as I am. Also, I could not find a way to turn on the second-floor light from the first floor, which meant a double stair climb, one up to turn on the bedroom light and one down to turn off the first-floor light and then another one up to go to bed.

"The quiet cabin allowed us to relax at the end of our workday. It is a great place to stay for peace and quiet."

It was quiet and it backed up to a horse pasture and a beautiful view.

The staircase is something to navigate but doable.

We had a lovely stay in this cozy cabin . Everything was so clean and the owners were great with checking to make sure we had all we needed . It’s a great location as well to go into the downtown area or take a drive into parts of NC I will say if you have issues with steps and prefer one floor , it’s not the right fit for you , but otherwise it was great ! Nice and cozy and quiet Would definitely stay again !!

Beautiful place! And cozy!

Bed was a little hard. Pillows were different. Some a little hard. Internet was out, but not of their doing as towers were down from Hurricane. So could of used something else for entertainment like Music or CD's.
