Yucca Hut - Design Forward Oasis Near Joshua Tree

This spot was gorgeous. Every detail was so well thought out - amenities, decor, comfort. The owners clearly have an impeccable sense of design and style, with a clean look and tasteful art. The outdoor spaces were amazing to hang out in, especially in the shaded hammock area. Super comfortable beds. Quiet during the day, bird song in the morning. Just amazing! I just wish we had stayed much longer!

Too many emails / notifications from the property management company before / during / after. Also annoying the "club pool" wouldn't let our 17 y.o. swim because she wasn't an adult.

I don’t typically leave reviews but this place exceeded my expectations over and over again. They have thought of everything. The property has the perfect balance of desert landscape, homey vibes, and modern comfort.

The only thing I would change is all of the advertisements I received from the property management company beforehand. They send messages to advertise booking at the property but the Booking.com messages should be reserved for just details of the stay.

Fantastic property ~10 min from Joshua Tree / Yucca Valley. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen + games cupboard. Very comfortable beds and beautiful surroundings.

The setting - the amenities- simple but everything one would need in order to disconnect or just be - we felt at home and we caught ourselves saying how much we could move right in there). The hot tub and hammock and cowboy tub are the perfect addition for relaxing or enjoying sunrise or sunset with an espresso In one word - perfection

Nothing - just add an espresso maker ☺️

The space was well-styled!! It was a lovely combination of modern and cozy. Don't forget about the outdoor spaces! We didn't use the grill, the soaking tub or the outdoor shower; but our teens loved the hammocks and we all enjoyed stargazing from the comfort of the Jacuzzi once the sky was dark (especially after a full day of hiking the park). We saw a family of quail running around the grounds in the morning. Both sunrise and sunset views are fantastic. The house was well equipped--they had most everything you'd need to make dinner in (including olive oil and a small array of fun spices). We didn't use the washing machine or dryer, but we used the drying rack for our bathing suits after the hot tub. That was nice while we were out exploring the park. Have I mentioned the views?! It seemed everywhere you looked, out every window, there was a perfectly placed cactus or succulent--either in pots or in the ground. The extra out-building worked well for the teens who needed their space at this point in the trip. We were there in March. It wasn't too hot and it wasn't too cold (so the indoor fireplace being out of commission didn't really affect us). Loved our stay!

Honestly, not much. The short road into the house was pretty bumpy. We couldn't figure out how to get the ceiling fans from their highest speed to a lower setting, but we could've asked. The only thing I was missing in the house was a box of tissues. For some reason, my nose was dripping the entire time we were in the desert.

The setting and location is very good and close to everything.
