Sam’s place was one of the most thoughtful houses I have ever stayed. Everything we needed was provided. Checking instructions was on point. The house was sparkling clean. Soft beddings and beautiful environment. Communication was a 100%. The apartment is right by the city centre with easy access to everything around.

It was convenient location for the centre of Birmingham, but the area and walk to town is covered in Dog Poo and litter. There was enough space for us all and our pet, however there was no key for the back door and we couldn't use the back garden as it was overgrown. Even tho its advertised as usable. We were also concerned that it was a huge safety risk that there was no 2nd escape from the property on the ground floor.

the property is, in my opinion not as described, it was generally clean but far from "luxury Mansion", there were many issues and none were rectified before we left, There were no keys to the back door, the garden was overgrown and unusable, it was advertised as "Boasting a garden" & "Staying here allows you access to the private garden".. Carpets and walls are grubby and dirty, the dishwasher was broken, there is no live TV and the TV on the top floor had no remote control, extractors in all bathrooms were filthy, Its advertised as sleeping 9 but there are not enough forks, knives cups plates etc for 9 ( although there was only 4 of us) Its not mentioned that it is in the low emissions area of Birmingham, There was no Bins outside for day to day waste and the recycling bin was overflowing and there were rats in it at night, indeed you could hear them banging the lid, The property is in a gated area but neighbours told us to make sure to lock up as thieves operate in the area. On arrival the front door wouldn't close but luckily we had a screwdriver and tightened it, the kitchen door handle was falling off too, the door to the dish washer was falling off, the kitchen cupboards had left over food and crumbs and stale bread in a bag. In general we were just very disappointed with the property, it is certainly not as described. There was a cleaning fee of £100 pounds, certainly didn't feel like it had been cleaned since the last people had been in there.
