Location excellent for Alexander Stadium. Nice beds and Bedding. Good Wifi and TV. Easy to find. Good Security. Near to Tesco Express and local takeaways. 2 decent sized rooms with superficial decor looking good. Wonderful fans in each room. Quiet Neighbourhood. The shower was powerful. It is such a shame to report the negatives below. This could be a great house. I hate doing this but the current rating for this property is not right.

I really don't want to do this but, I feel I must be clear or other people will also book expecting a very good grading. Cleanliness throughout the property was not good. The walls need cleaning in places and a lick of paint. The shower tray is blocked and so the water built up. The kitchen was unhygienic. I had to clean it before using and even then I struggled to bring myself to use it. Every surface was dirty. There was brown water in the plastic bowl under the sink. The sieve was clogged with what looked like rice glutinous water and the outside of the sieve had yellow blobs. There was only one sharp knife and the end of it was snapped off. There were no serving bowls. There was an odd smell in the downstairs. Under the sink where the cutlery was kept there were brown water stains and a hole in the back of the cupboard with a pipe and and unplastered wall or the paster had fallen off. The plug for the cooker was not a proper cooker plug and was covered in brown stains. I cleaned it was best I could see below. There are several light fittings hanging off the wall with electrics exposed. The dinning chairs are all wobbly and need screwing together. In the bathroom when I picked the bathmat up to put it back on the towel rail the bottom was covered in brown stains. The decking in the garden is rotten and had 2 holes in it. There were a lot of food items about and the dish cloths were not new for our stay. I cleaned the bin lid. Honestly, if the landlord, who seemed very nice on the phone, addressed these things I would try staying there again because I could see they had got good ideas in place and potential.
