Luxurious 4-Bed Townhouse in the Heart of Belfast

Went with a group of friends and our kids House is really near Nuala an excellent host. Although we didn't meet she was really clear on everything has a really well prepared house with some great guiding information. House is well located - while there's no immediate garden to park in it was easy on the street (within 20 m) Good restaurants, pubs and grocery shopping nearby.

Rooms are a good size and all amenities within House were available

It would be great to have a dryer and another bathroom/toilet as we stayed with couples and kids.

Ideal location clean with good transport links and friendly and helpful hosts, especially with supplying a baby cot and a high chair

Location is good for buses into the city centre and there are pubs and places to eat within walking distance. The bathroom cabinet keeps all previous guests toiletries for use which is beneficial.

The mattresses were thin and lumpy/springy... beyond AWFUL! The room myself and my husband stayed in (top floor, rear) is a double bed frame with only a 3/4 mattress on! Not suitable for a couple! All four couples experienced poor sleep due to the beds so I feel it's impossible to score the house highly. I hope they are replaced immediately for future guests. Advertising using the word 'luxurious' appears grossly misleading. The design of the rooms are nice, however much of the furniture is basic IKEA - which is fine - but NOT luxury. The top floor rear bedroom had a plug hanging off the wall (see picture) and the small single velux window was covered in black mould (see picture). They apparently use a professional cleaning service but if I was paying professionals to come in and clean I'd be withholding payment - the light fittings were covered in dust to the point you could write your name in them and under the beds were littered with dust/wrappers/tablets (see picture). There were hairs on both sides of the pillows in the bedroom at the rear on the first floor! There was a squashed bug on the wall in the kitchen. The freezer was in desperate need of defrosting as it barely stayed shut and was not usable at all. The frying pan was old to the point of being useless and no spatula so making fried eggs was a challenge in a wok. The cover that joins the living room flooring to the kitchen is broken and came off 2-3 times within the first hour of arriving when people were walking between rooms but it was a hazard that people then tripped on so we just put it to one side. The bath could use something on the floor to prevent older adults slipping. The boiler had lost pressure and the house was an ice box when we arrived. We tried to call Nuala but she didn't answer but then WhatsApp messaged to say she was in USA and sent a YouTube video of how to correct it.
