Pickle Pot Loft- 2 bedroom apartment in Hawkshead

Lovely little flat, all the amenities you need and in a good location.

Window blinds in bedrooms let light past so hard to sleep. Although not your fault, the Coop wagon delivered every day at circa 7am so it was very noisy and you could not sleep. TVs had major issues loading. Couch downstairs was too short for your legs so uncomfortable. I appreciate the room is difficult but when you have been walking all day, you want comfort not a back breaking sofa. Again, nothing you can do now, but the light switches in the bedroom are very awkward. Especially for the bathrooms and main bedroom. They are not logically where you expect them. One last thing. The wallpaper in the main bedroom is pealing off above the bath. But don't let the little thing put you off.

It is everything we expected, clean, modern and delightful.

The property was brilliant the coop delivery at 8 am less so on a Sunday. I appreciate that store needs replenished for opening. I would advise to book restaurants prior to arriving if you were planning to eat out, as there is a shortage of options. That said I have been to Hawkshead 20 times and it is an absolute pleasure to keep going back. First time in the Pickle Pot but will certainly be back.

1- الوصول بسيارتي الي موقعه صعب جدا الطريق خطير و ضيق جدا و بسببه انفجر لدي الاطارات لا تحاول القياده فيه بنفسك . 2-يبعد من ويندرمير 22 د بالسياره . 3- لا يوجد مصعد و الشقه مكونه من دورين علوين كلها صعود بدرج غير مناسب لكبار السن .

The place had all the facilities required for a comfortable stay and the village of Hawkshead is very cute. We recommend the ghost tour run by the people at the Kittchen bar

It has been beautifully renovated and is in a great location.

It was dirty. The area by the front door stank of dog poo when we arrived. So much so, that I had to go around to the Co-op and buy bottles of Zoflora to put down straight away, and again midweek. The stench was awful. The front door is filthy and doesn’t present a great appearance. The apartment itself could be lovely but it had barely been cleaned. Bedside tables had tea stains and sticky patches, the floors were gritty and dirty, and there was a layer of brown gunge and hair in the shower. The skirting boards were pretty dirty too. You would expect a degree of scuffing on the walls of a rental property but there were nasty marks and stains around the walls by the dining table which, like the shower, had to be cleaned to make the area acceptable for use. The rug in the sitting room is really grubby and marked, and the apartment smelt when we arrived. We managed to get a window open to air it out, but the overall experience on arrival was very poor. We made the most of of our time in the lakes but I don’t think I would be inclined to book through Laik again. You don’t expect a rental to be as clean and tended as your own home, but we rent apartments every year and this did not live up to its promise or its price.

Location was good. Use of parking permit was very good.

Toilet space was very tight.
