Polar Cozy Apartment - With View and Free parking

A quiet house overlooking the city.

Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi is not very useful. Neither my friend nor I can connect to the Wi-Fi.

Polar Cozy Apartment located in the very convince place,there are 2 routes of bus around.And 2 supermarket in walking distance .And Landlord is really nice to help with everything

House and Host both were extremely super. Very good view from Property and even good connection to City Centre

Everything, Martha was absolutely wonderful person. She was kind and friendly and very helpful in sites to see and things to do .

I have no complaints whatsoever about the property or the accommodations. Snow covered mountains and a beautifully lit harbor area were our view .

Can't think of anything to like about the place. I would have liked not to have booked the place or spent wasted time heading over. It's totally horrible!

Book & stay at own risk! Danger Alert! Upon arrival, the entrance and parking area was buried in ankle deep snow, covered with ice and flooded with water. Upon alighting the car, slipped and almost fell. No effort to maintain or shovel the snow or clear the ice for guests. Accommodation and parking space is on different levels, separated by three narrow and steep flights of stairs, about 2 floors to walk down. Owner is staying on level 2 of the house and is a shared accommodation with not much private space. Stairs are wet, filled with ice and snow buildup for ages without much clearance or space for walking, terribly dangerous walking down even without luggage. Area is dark and badly lighted. It's almost impossible to bring your luggage down as you have to carry it in a dimly lit and narrow space down two floors of narrow and slippery stairs if you have many pieces or big suitcases bigger then cabin size. It's a miracle if you do not slip and fall while carrying the luggage as even without, we almost slipped thrice but managed to barely balance ourselves. High danger alert, highly not advisable for children, elderly, pregnant, or movement impaired guests. Even able-bodied adults would have to proceed with utmost care and caution so as not to leave with an injury. Only one level without balcony and no view to speak of. View is 80% blocked by houses in front, only partial view of city and water and the night sky. Surroundings is highly dense as it is a residential neighborhood instead of dedicated villa area. View is below average, and advertisement is highly misrepresented and ambiguous. There is free parking but, you would have to park along the street parellel to their garage which is slightly away from the narrow entrance of the house. Highly disappointing and a waste of $300+ a night, which would get you a beautiful and comfortable apartment in the city with views of the harbour and mountain and northern lights. Very bad experience. BEWARE!

The apartment was very nice and cozy with a mesmerizing view of the ocean and city. You got all the facilities inside from the fully equipped kitchen to furniture. I loved the place. The neighborhood was also very beautiful when covered with snow. Thanks Martha for having us!

It was great to have heated floors and plenty of space for 2 to unpack, relax, dine in, and get ready while staying close to Tromsø.

There was an issue where the water stopped working for a few hours one morning, but it may have been due to a cold wind freezing the pipes. I was told it had not been an issue before, so there's not much you can do about that if it is unexpected. It was extremely frustrating in the moment, but thankfully it resolved itself and we otherwise had no other issues the entire stay.

Nice view and very cozy place

A bit far from the center but shouldn't matter if you travel by car around the area

We stayed one night at this apartment and next 3 days at the adjacent Polar Cozy apartment both owned by the same hosts. This one is much bigger and suitable for a family. Martha and her husband Are were perfect hosts. They went over and beyond to help make our stay comfortable The location was superb and close to bus stops that take u to the airport as well as the City Centre. Everything in the apartment was as mentioned. Awesome view from the apartment as well as a short walk uphill from the apartment gives you a clear view of the Tromso island. Would highly recommend the place. We returned with warmth, love and amazing friendship. Thank You Martha for all your help. Can't wait to be back.
