The Paragon Penthouse - Stunning Views over Bath

Beautiful place with a gorgeous view. It was close to the city center. Perfect staycation spot for our family of 7 . The kids had fun.

No parking. No microwave. Heater didn’t work properly. The downstairs bathroom had an electrical problem so no light!

Fanatically decorated apartment. Clean and neat. Wonderful views of Bath and country side.

The windows only open an inch and there are no fans or AC. A little over 3 flights of stairs to carry luggage up. In summer time, since the windows are open, there were all sorts of bugs in the apartment over the few nights. Multiple bees were in the apartment, and let out some through the window when I could. Tried to change the dates on booking as soon as I got to apartment and realized how hot it is inside, being on tail end of a heat wave in UK and I am type one diabetic that does not do well in hot temperatures. Freddie said it was up to booking.com, and after speaking with them they do not allow trip changes. From the hot temperature of first night, I had 2 days of high blood sugars that did not come down as I did not get rest + heat. Freddie mentioned looking into a fan possibly and the possibility of early checkout Wednesday or Thursday (2 days into my booking) when I first talked to him 20 minutes into checking into the apartment. 2 days later - 4pm afternoon a fan did arrive. However by this point I had already missed out on couple days of my trip and asked if I can still checkout on Thursday. Freddie said it is not possible as result of booking.com policies. However when I did make a phone call to booking.com they said it was up to owner/manager of the listing. Not sure how I feel about it. Regardless of cancellation policies, disabilities and related comfort of a stay should be a priority of any management team.

The location is very good for visiting Bath and for dinner at home in the flat. The kitchen and dining room are well appointed and fun to spend time together dining. The bedrooms are cosy and the beds very comfortable. The whole flat is light and airy and the views are great.

Note it's three flight of stairs up to the flat.

It was amazing property with beautiful furniture, decor and design! With stunning views from windows.

We did expect a couple of essentials to be available for the price, like basics, milk, bread, butter etc
