Having read all the other reviews I feel like I’ve stayed at a completely different property. I’m afraid I don’t rate this property at all, sorry. The property was very clean though. The visitors information book was helpful.

I’m afraid to say that it didn’t meet expectations after reading the reviews. The lounge you could only seat 5 people yet it sleeps 6. We had to move a chair from upstairs to accommodate us all. The room with bunk beds was tiny pictures are quite deceiving. There was damp in the lounge which you could smell when you opened one of the kitchen cupboards. Utensils in kitchen was very minimal, the frying pans were all awful un useable. The towels were very thin. No light in the bunk bed room had to message owner, who only suggested taking another bulb from somewhere else. Didn’t seem bothered. It’s not ideal if you are staying with dogs as the garden isn’t enclosed and the garden is not child friendly, very steep and no grass.

very steep steps to the garden and steps on landing not child friendly , several problems whilst there one of the spindles on the banister gave way whilst I was walking up the stairs with my grand daughter causing her to fall , she was ok told owner who said she knew about it and on closer inspection could see the wood glue on it. Second problem there was a very heavy side panel on the bath which fell twice in the four days we were there injuring my adult daughters leg causing a bruise , also the stairgate was missing one of the attachments so couldn't be used , all above were reported so hopefully these will be dealt with

Beautiful cottage in great location, 5 min walk from friendly pub serving nice food. Very well equipped and comfy beds. Unfortunately only stayed one night as garden didn't work for our dog.

Garden is unfortunately not secure and consists of 2 small patio areas accessed by steep steps. Didn't work for us unfortunately as not really dog friendly. Garden furniture was limited with just small bistro table and 2 chairs.

It needed more pans for cooking

The house was lovely and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and location quiet.

Some essential items missing: Tea towels and oven glove More toilet paper Could do with more pots and pans The cleaner arrived early on our departure day, which made us feel rushed to leave the property.
