Shree Vilas Orchid - A Pichola Lake Facing Resort

Nothing is worth mentioning here.

It is not worth a second visit or recommendation to friends and family members. I feel cheated. The room condition was pathetic. I paid over 12000 INR for 1 night but the facilities were abysmally poor - the bathroom door cannot be closed in the room, 2 of the lights in the room were not working - one of the bulb just exploded and the glass pieces got scattered all over the place (The technician could not fix the issue). The TV was not working in the room. The technician had to be called twice. There was no hair dryer in the room. Flush in the toilet stopped working early in the morning as the room ran out of water and the reception had to be informed. No running hot water. I mean how worse can things get beyond this? Breakfast was not great. Just okayish. Location of the facility is not great either. It is located in that corner of the lake Pichola that is shallow and filthy. I will not recommend this to anybody.

it’s location , away from traffic and noise - clean .

nothing was wrong but you may find it difficult to reach the location as you can not take car because of congested roads on the way and some limitations

Mr Ritesh guided me over phone from the highway to reach the destination...which was awesome.. Staff was extremely courteous and prompt to attend tonyour needs. Extremely pet friendly place including the staff. The way rooms were organized and amazing lake facing view.
