Staybridge Suites St. Petersburg FL by IHG

Rooms had nice setup and we were able to get early check-in on two of the three, one upon arrival and one soon after which was much appreciated. Christelle at the front desk was courteous and very helpful. Kitchen setup in the room was great, and a very important factor for me when traveling due to many dietary requirements. My family members enjoyed the subscription TV available. We loved being able to gather at tables in the lobby. Parking is reasonable. The fitness room was well set; would have liked to have an exercise ball. Evening wine bar was a nice touch.

Closet had need of wall repair. Fifth floor stairwell had paint tracked on the carpet due to recent painting. One of doors from patio area was not functioning. These are relatively minor, but worth remedying. Would have liked to know more about beaches and other places to visit that don't require, or have modest, admission fees.

It was spacious

It was not very clean, there were bugs in the kitchen. The dishes were dirty.

The location was great for what we needed. The hotel breakfast had a nice variety as well.

The staff was not friendly. We had some issues with our room, such as the shower and toilet not working properly, the microwave didnt work at all and missing items that were supposed to be supplied in the room. We had to ask several times to get missing items and they only fixed the microwave. They wouldn't move us to another room. And when asked for more towels bc our room was cleaned the entire stay we were told we have to put a request in to have it clean, which was never told to us at check in. We have stayed at other hotels in this chain and have never had to request cleaning services nor did it say it on the site.
