Huge Villa w/ Pool and Spectacular Rooftop Patio!

Villa was lovely, very comfortable and spacious. Good size pool. Putu very helpful, nothing too much trouble.

Location was a bit secluded, a car is needed to get around. Though taxi’s are not expensive.

The house is not new, but it has three large bedrooms, each with an en-suite and air conditioner. The kitchen/dining/living area is completely open (no external wall) with direct access to the pool and lush garden. Staff members are very nice and genuinely kind. We were welcomed with fresh home-made ice tea (really nice!) and explained things around the house. Kitchen is equipped with everything one might need during their stay and there is also a water fountain (free of charge) and a mini bar (price list available). WiFi worked with no issues. Main gate can be locked and each room can be also individually locked. There are also safe deposit boxes available. The host lives next door in case of any urgency.

Please consider if the following comments are important to you, as what we found as negatives might not be relevant to you and your fellow travelers! The fact that the living area is completely open to the garden works great during the day, but it becomes a challenge at night. The lights attract many bugs and insects from the garden, that would prevent us from staying up late and spending more time together. There are large bamboo roller blinds (instead of walls), however we had a frog sitting on top of one of them the first night, so we were uncomfortable to use those blinds, out of concern what other creature could be found in there. There are also geckos on walls, but we were not bothered with them, unless they emitted their usual cries and sounds. The tub in one of the rooms in the ground floor is extremely deep and it can be a challenge for someone to get out of it. We wish there were nets on windows, as we like keeping windows open during the night, but we couldn't do it here out of fear that something may crawl into the room while we're sleeping. The area is usually quiet, apart from early mornings when you are waken up by roosters from neighbouring properties. While we have once walked to the town centre, the house is located a little bit outside and it's recommended to take a taxi. Some small grocery shops are however within walking distance for essential shopping items.
