129 First floor double bedroom apartment Hereford

Not very clean. Drains stank. Shower was fully blocked

Location to town and place i need was good.

No clear cut instructions. Where to park how to get in. When i couldnt get in my hostel didnt call me untill 2 1/2 hours after i got in never mind the 1 1/2 waot to get in to property. This could have been negated with better instruction. No parking directions. Property smells when you walk through front door. Then the apartment is filthy! Cobwebs everywhere and not just recent they were thick with dust so not done this year at least! Bathroom filthy! Hair and water marks on tray ad god know what else! Had to clean myself! Bed had several hairs in it as if someone cut thier hair! Great! Kitchen is useless as bar minimum was in there! No chopping boards! Not knives to cut produce! And funnily enough everything was dirty! No cleaning products to clean anything! Floor is old hard wood, again dirty and full of cobwebs. Price is paying for convenience of location but id rather camp in a field!

Central to where we needed to stay. Code access so no need for keys. 2 bedrooms

No Coffee or Sugar in kitchen. No shower gel in bathroom. Slight smell of Damp. Wooden floor boards noisy and Uneven. No where comfy to sit. Just the dining tables. Tv on window sill but not able to sit and watch unless sitting at dining table

The location wasn’t bad in terms of proximity to the town centre/bus/train station. The bedrooms were a good size and the shower worked. It suppose it was quite cheap but even so, I’d have expected better. The Wi-Fi worked ok once we got the password. Beds were comfortable.

We didn’t actually stay in the property we booked. We got a message as we were on our way to say that there had been a double booking and we were being moved to the top floor apartment. This was slightly bigger and actually had a very small sofa (!). We had to chase to get the access code and the wifi password. The building itself was in a terrace with boarded up shops so it didn’t look great from the outside. There was a damp smell on entering the building but the flat itself was ok. It would not have suited anyone with mobility issues as the stairs were quite steep - also the lighting was a bit odd. Many of the switches didn’t work for example. There was a lot of dust, it didn’t seem very clean. There were no curtains on the living room window so it wasn’t very private and the windows were filthy. They also didn’t open, which is a safety issue. The furnishings were very basic. The kitchen consisted of a sink, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge - no cooker or hob so not great for self catering. No iron, no hairdryer - the handwash and washing up liquid were watered down! There was no way to adjust/switch on the heating - the duvets were quite thin, which would have been Ok except it was unseasonably cold. We actually left a day early. I can’t see how this place got 10 ratings, very suss.

Everything we needed for a night in Hereford. Lovely pub with pizza opposite and car park with EV charging only a few minutes walk away.
