OUTRIGGER Koh Samui Beach Resort

Hotel incrível com várias piscinas e complexo em frente à praia com bar e restaurante. Foi uma estadia curta mas das melhores que tivemos nas duas semanas que passamos na Tailândia. O pequeno almoço foi um dos pontos fortes deste hotel. Com imensas opções e tudo de ótima qualidade. Adorámos e recomendamos!

Gardens and architecture are nice and pretty

Not a 5 star accommodation, as we arrived, no one greeted us, and we had to lift our own baggage (3 luggage’s, baby stroller, 2 backpacks) and we were a couple, pregnant wife, and a 2 year old girl. We ordered the king suite, which was disappointing, the bathroom and bathtub were dirty, as if we got into another guest’s room. The floor was creaking like crazy, every little move was loud, even our daughter moving inside the crib made the floor creek so loud it woke her up and she refused to sleep all night. Also, the main road passing through the hotel, makes the pool and beach much less accessible, and every motorcycle passes on the island’s main road is heard aloud inside the room. There almost no staff in the hotel, feels very undermanned. The only good and fair thing is that we booked 6 nights in advance, and after the first night we decided to leave due to all of the above, and they were fair to charge us only for the first night, even though the cancellation policy didn’t strict them to do so. I think it is a decent place, but not a five star resort.

We had an excellent stay at this resort in Koh Samui and genuinely loved everything about it. The location was beautiful, the food was great, and the service from the staff was outstanding throughout our stay. Everyone was very welcoming, helpful and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. A special thank you to the team for helping me organise a surprise birthday celebration for my wife. They arranged a beautiful beachside dinner setup with lights, created a lovely atmosphere, and even customised a vegetarian menu for us, which we really appreciated. It made the evening feel very personal and memorable. Overall, the resort, staff, service, food and location were all amazing. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Koh Samui and would love to stay here again.

Staff are friendly & helpful. Communication & service are great. Facilities at the beach club across the road are good. Location is within walking distance of good restaurants.

Beach club food & drinks prices are steep.

It was a beautiful property, pools were great. Day club was awesome and the staff were amazing, especially Joe at Edgewater

The beds aren’t great. They are ok but the mattresses need replacing or thicker mattress toppers. And I found the pillows terrible.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were spacious and very clean. The buffet breakfast and the pools were amazing and their other facilities esp the kids club and the Edgewater club were our favorite! We loved our stay.

Location is about 20 mins away from chaweng/bophut which is where most of the touristy stuff. Resort's beach wasnt really great but the pool was spacious enough for visitors. Crystal beach is about 5min drive away from resort. Breakfast is a basic western spread. There are 7-11s nearby and a good breakfast restaurant outside. I would recommend exchanging currencies at the banks in Central Samui mall for market rates instead of those mini shops with super low rates.

Fridge was not working well. It had a funny smell and wasnt keeping drinks cold. Doors have 2 lock features but only 1 works so security might be an issue for some people.
