Coastguard Cottage Cornwall - Sea & Harbour Views

Beautiful views Lovely garden with different levels. Property was clean and comfortable. Pillows, bed linen and towels lovely quality!

The complicated coffee machine - I followed the instructions but gave up. There was a cafetière and a lovely bag of cornish ground coffee for us to use though which was great. Maybe a touch high in price but due to the high spec of everything in the property it wasn't an issue.

The house was really well equipped and very well decorated and very comfortable with Lovely Views over the harbour, especially from the top decking and the front bedrooms. We would really recommend coastguard cottage.

The bathroom window wouldn't open to let air in, and the blind kept rolling itself down. The top decking is slightly overgrown and we had to sweep up and pull some large weeds from under the bushes which were overhanging onto the slabs. *These are minor comments. We really loved the cottage and gardens.

We have just spent a week here, what a perfect location close to the beautiful mevagissy town. It was our first time here. It was just a short walk into the town, quite a steep hill to get back up. The cottage itself was clean and very well equipped. It was nice to have tea, coffee, biscuits, and milk provided. Some areas in the house may be in need of an update but on the main very well kept. The outdoor space was lovely and had great views. We were spoilt for choice for places to eat, we really enjoyed sharksfin, we tried to get in the Portuguese restaurant but it was fully booked so maybe book in advance. The ship and fountain nice too! Coastguard cottage very central for lots of different places. There is parking for 2 cars. Great directions were provided by the owner which really helped. Grèat communication beforehand and we managed to be able to get into the property at 2pm instead of 5pm which we were grateful for as had travelled in the night to avoid traffic. We would love to come back here and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you 😊
